Poker Now uses the Mersenne Twister algorithm with a sequence of random seeds. Each game deck is a result of a shuffle of the last shuffled deck in Poker Now. When a card is placed on the table, the remaining deck is shuffled again. You can check the current shuffle logic in this example snippet https://repl.it/@samuelsimoes22/Shuffling-Statistics. The events are now in Phase 4 which allows groups of 50 per room restrictions. This means we will be slightly adjusting the tournament formats with more play. With the new metrics allowing groups of 50 we will go 7 handed at tables when needed but still look to default to 6 players per table as much as possible.
