'Wheel of Fortune' fans no longer have to wait for Vanna White to appear on the television game show to see her walk across the screen to flip a letter.

With an IBM-compatible computer and a multimedia CD-ROM package, Vanna and 'Wheel' appear at your pleasure. Vanna walks, talks and flips letters while contestants try to identify phrases, places or things.

Using CD-ROM, Sony Imagesoft created an almost real-life 'Wheel of Fortune' game. Using film of Vanna and her voice, Sony has taken her from the television to your computer screen. With a super VGA computer monitor, she looks as real as she does on TV.

The program allows you to choose from eight contestants, each with a film file that shows the individual gesturing, cheering and moving. You can choose a skill level for each player to make the game more or less challenging.

As in the TV version, you spin the wheel to determine the amount of money you're playing for. Then you choose a letter you suspect is in the unsolved puzzle. As long as you keep identifying the correct letters, you control the board and continue to spin. Otherwise the spins goes to the next player.

The game keeps going until you can solve the puzzle.
