The Boeing 777-300 is a long range, twin aisle, twin-engine jet manufactured by Boeing, the American aerospace company. We operate these on routes to Asia and North America. Often referred to as the “Triple Seven”, it was the world’s first commercial aircraft entirely designed by computer. Boeing surely hates losing any battle with Airbus, but it is still larger in the wide-body segment of the commercial aerospace market. Airbus has delivered about 2,200 model A330, A340 and A350. The Boeing 777 was to be the perfect aircraft platform to rival Airbus A330 and A340 series. Boeing consulted with several airlines to design the aircraft, and its technological improvements managed to undercut sales of the A340 dramatically.
